Angel Island 一日遊

Church Outing
Place: Angel Island
Day: June 7th 2009

Praise the Lord,
It is such a gorgeous day
for our church outing on last Sunday!!

每一位參加著都帶著兒時，
出門遠遊興奮又期待的心情．

Someone was reading books the whole night
without sleep

有人半夜醒來就不敢再入眠！

Someone got to church an hour early before
gathering time at 7:30am

有人六點就挨家挨戶打電話叫醒大夥！

Just because no one would take any risk to
miss the ferry to Angel Island

終於， 六部車 ，三十人，
準時到達 Tiboroun Ferry terminal！

This is our Ferry to Angel Island

不大, 不小, 不擠, 不鬆, 不太高檔, 也不太差!!

Just RIGHT!!!


找好位子，聊聊天，看看風景，打打屁！

Boat had got into deck, only less than 20 minutes ride.

位子還沒坐熱，就得排隊下船！

真不小一群人，
要大夥同看鏡頭還真不是件容易事呢！

Reading the poetry carved on the wooden walls of
the detention center.

詩中道盡早期華人移民，
其心裏的苦與悲，憂與愁．

Another most famous one on the wall.

最後一句寫得真貼切，

設威玉砌變如籠　－　真慘！

You can also see those nice luggage from
European immigrants.

They stayed much shorter than Chinese immigrants.

Second land tour - bus tour around the island.

換上另一部團體巴士，這回姜教授可是跟上隊！

Not only you can join local bus tour,
you can also tour around the island by feet and bike.

我們另一導遊

This is the most splendid point in island,
overlooking San Francisco bay
with such breathtaking view!!

從來未曾如此清楚地眺看舊金山全貌，
它總是被層層的濃霧所遮羞著．

It definitely deserve a group picture
to keep those beautiful and happy memories
in our mind and heart!!!

夠美吧！美呆了！美斃了也！
